Documentary film "Here... I mean, there"

The documentary film "Here ...I mean there" directed by Laura Capatana, which I have waited to see for a long time screened, came finally also to Berlin at Romanian Cultural Institute.

Ani and Sanda are two girls from Maramureş who were raised by their grandparents. Their parents work in Spain to raise enough money to build a house where the whole family would live happily. Ten years later, however, the house is still unfinished, and the happiness not reached.

...and here we are, watching the film, laughing and crying in the same time, having Q&A session, drinking Romanian wine and chatting!!!!

International Women’s Day with DEMO in Berlin

The Demo, that started at Oranienplatz and ended at Kottbuser Tor, was a call on women, especially working class women (with and without papers), to fight against the capitalist patriarchy and to decide for themselves in all areas of life.Resistance starts when we women are in solidarity with each other, defend themselves and fight for freedom on the basis of justice.
The women* in Rojava are a good example of women* who fight against colonialist and fascist state forces. The kurdish women in the north of Kurdistan (Bakur), are fighting for autonomy and since months they are resisting  the military superiority of armed forces and mercenary soldiers.
